Student Success Statement  " I am not bound to win, but i am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong."                           Abraham Lincoln  Reflection: This quote by Abraham Lincoln is an amazing quote. Abraham Lincoln lost a lot of times, but he was still bound to be true. If you win but you win dishonestly, than you are not a true person. It matters if you win but what matters is you win truly. For example, you win a soccer game but you do not win it truly, then you're a bad bad person. You need to win truly, even if you don't win it doesn't matter because if you are bound to be true, than you are a great person. Abraham Lincoln lost so many times but he was still bound to be true and that's what made him an amazing man.

Student Success Statement            " Character is high than intellect"                 By Ralph Waldo Emerson Reflection: I believe this quote by Ralph is correct. Character is more important than anything else. It doesn't matter if you have good talent or good grades when it comes to playing for a team, what matters is that you have good character. For example, if you get a red card while you're in a game and you storm out on the ref, than you do not have good character. If you just step off the court and except that you got a card, than that's good. That's what every coach wants to see. That is why it is important to have great character. It matters more than anything else in a person. A person who always chooses the right and has awesome character is an amazing person. Having good character will help you become more successful in life.

Student Success Statement  "True independence and freedom can only exist in doing whats right "                         Brigham Young  Reflection: I believe this statement by Brigham Young is an incredible quote. He is totally right in what hes saying. Doing the right allows you to have more freedom and independence. Doing the wrong makes you lose your freedom which isn't very good. For example, if you have bad grades and your mom sees them and she takes away your phone, you are loosing the freedom to use it. If you have good grades, than you will be able to use your phone and many other things. Having freedom and independence is very important to have but losing it is not very good. If a person does the right for ever, than they will forever have there freedom and independence. A person who does bad all the time will never have their freedom. Choosing the right will really benefit you in a amazing way.

In addition, using steroids is cheating and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don't do it.                               George Mitchell  Reflection: I believe this quote from George Mitchell is correct because short term gain causes long term pain. For example, you use your phone for about 20 seconds while your in class and you get it taken away for several days by the teacher. The short term gain isn't worth the long term pain. Also cheating on a test. If you cheat on some answers, you will feel bad about cheating because its not right. Also a person should never use steroids because that isn't right.
