                                    Student Success Statement  " A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder"                         Thomas carlyle Reflection: I believe this quote by Thomas is an amazing quote because it makes a lot of sense. In life, you will need to set goals for yourself because if you don't then you aren't striving to achieve anything. Goals are something everyone should have because that is very important in life. We have our life planning goals journal so we get to plan our goals for our everyday life. Having goals will make you a very great person because you will work hard to achieve it will make you a hard working person. A person without goals will accomplish nothing in life so start planning some goals so you can achieve them and become a great person.

                                                Trauma Nurse  Duties and responsibilities: Trauma Nurses treat patients when its very urgent so like when the disease or injury isn't known yet. They work in chaotic environments like emergency rooms in the hospital because there job is very important. Salary: $54,000-74,000 Education: RN Degree  Bachelor's degree   Demand or needs: 16% from 2016 to 2026 Reflection: This career seems really interesting but it also seems so complicated. I believe that because your treating patients when its very urgent and you need to be fast but i feel like this job is too pressuring.

                                              Student Success Statement                                    "Doing good things make you a great person"                                         Jose Ramirez Reflection: The moment you do a good deed or a good thing, you will feel like the most amazing person in the world. For example, if you help someone in need that's on the streets by giving them money or food, trust me you will feel great. There is no possible way you can't feel great when you do a good thing. When you do a bad thing like steel some candy or some chips from a store, you will feel like a terrible person and you will want to return them. Doing bad things won't turn out so good for you because there are consequences when doing bad things. Doing good things like helping someone when they fall will make you a good person and you will feel great. Everyone will do a good thing in there life and they will feel AMAZING.                             

                                                            Memorial day    Memorial Day is a day where those who died in the military are remembered because they are very important people. Memorial day is on May 28, thats the day we remember the loss of many people who fought in the military. A way to show honor and respect on memorial day is to show the flag of the united states. Another way to show respect is to send a letter to a veteran. It doesn't matter if you know them or not, an appreciation letter to a veteran would be very nice.     A few things i will do is show my flag and put on my shirt that relates to memorial day because that will show great honor and respect. I will Also try to send a letter to my friend who is a veteran because he is doing the country good. Reflection: I believe Memorial day is a very important day. Having bad character will just show that your not a good person. There will be no harmony in the home and there won't be any order in the nation.                                                   Sports Medicine  Duties and Responsibilities: They work with athletes to establish there rehabilitation plan. They don't work in groups with athletes, they work with them one by one establishing what techniques they are going to use for there rehabilitation. Salary: $185,007  Education: Bachelor's degree Doctor of Medicine degree Medical School Demand or needs: Job growth of 14%from 2014 to 2024  Reflection: This career seems very interesting and i would like to be a Sports Medicine Therapist because i would like to help athletes with their injuries. Maybe i can meet one of my favorite athletes some day.   

                                 Student Success Statement                         " When a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgive" This statement brought to us by Alan Paton is truly amazing because he is right in what he is saying. When something happens to us that hurts us or makes us angry, the only reason we will stop feeling angry is to forgive. After you forgive, everything will go back to normal and you'll be fine. For example, If your playing Soccer with your friends and he accidently kicks the ball to the street and it pops, you have a right to be mad. The thing is that if you stay mad, you will never recover. You need to forgive that person that got you mad. Forgiving a person may be hard as we saw on the video in class but it is the right thing to do. Forgiveness is very important because you will never recover if you don't forgive.

                                                Speech Pathologist  Duties and Responsibilities: Speech Pathologist diagnose and treat and help prevent communication disorder in children and adults. Speech and Language disorders result from stroke, brain injury, or hearing loss. Salary:  $76,610 per year   Education:  Masters Degree Need to be licensed Demand or need: 18% from 2016 to 2026 Reflection: This job seems very interesting and it is very helpful to children but i would not want to be a Speech Pathologist because I feel like i wouldnt work good with children but i still like this job.

                                                        Social Worker Duties and responsibilities: Social workers  help people solve and cope with problems in their everyday lives. They deal with  behavioral issues, mental issues and emotional issues going on in a person's life which in my opinion is very helpful. Salary:  $47,980 per year Education: Social workers need a bachelor's degree but some social workers get a masters degree which is also very good.   Demand or need: 16% from 2016-2026 Reflection: This career seems really interesting but i don't think i would want to be a social worker because i feel like its too complicated and it would be hard for me to work with people.  

                                            Student Success Statement  " Dare to stand alone. Stand up for what is right, even if you stand alone." Reflection: This quote brought to us by Thomas S. Monson is truly great because it doesn't matter if your alone, what matters is that you are doing the right. For example, if another crowd is doing the wrong like drinking and smoking, than you go the other way and choose the right because it is not good to drink or smoke. It doesn't matter if your alone, as long as you're doing what others are not. Stand up for yourself and stand up for what is right. Don't do what others are doing, do what you need to do even if you stand alone. It's not bad to stand alone because you are doing what's right.

                                                Respiratory Therapist  Duties and responsibilities: They help patients that have breathing problems. They deal with diseases like chronic respiratory disease and asthma. Salary: A Respiratory Therapist makes $59,710 per year Education:  Associates degree Some have a bachelor's degree  Demand or need: Job growth of 23% from 2016 to 2026 Reflection: I would want to be a Respiratory therapist because this career seems really interesting and i feel like i would like it.

                                         Student Success Statement  " I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating " Reflection: This quote brought to us by sophocles is truly amazing. He is 100% right in what he is saying. If you win by cheating, you are a bad terrible person that deserves no respect. If you win in that way, you will feel bad about yourself which is not good. You need to win honorably and fair and square. If you lose at something, but you are a sore loser and gets mad, that is not the right way to react. The right way to react is to shake the opponent's hand and say good job.  For example, Malik Stewart lost the state championship but he didn't get mad, he showed respect and hugged his opponents dad which was very kind and respectful. Now that makes him a ctr champion. Winning by cheating is bad, losing with honor is good and it will make you a ctr champion.

                                                              Reiki  Duties and responsibilities: Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of energy and charging them with positive energy. This can only be used by a person who was borned with it or a person who somehow got it. Salary:  $10,000  to  $60,000 Education: Three levels of training are required. Demand or need: Projected Job growth from   2014-2014 of 22% Reflection: I honestly don't find an interest in this career. It just doesn't fit me, therefore, i would not like to be a reiki.

                            Student Success Statement  " If i've got correct goals, and if i keep pursuing them the best i know how, everything else falls into line. If i do the right thing right,  I'm going to succeed."  Reflection: This quote brought to us by Dan Dierdorf is truly great. He is totally right in what he is saying because if you do the right thing you will succeed. If you pursue your goals, you will achieve them with greatness.Doing the right thing sometimes may be hard but if you do the right, you will succeed. There is no way you can do the right and not succeed because you are making a good choice. For example, if you see someone doing wrong, than you need to step up to them and do the right. If you do the right thing right, you will succeed in being a very honest person. Overall this is one of the best quotes so far because it is truly great.

                                                      Reflexology  Duties and responsibilities: Reflexologist help patients deal with their stress. They do this by giving them massage techniques in their hands and feet. Salary:  $39,990 per year   Education: A reflexologist needs to complete a post secondary program of 500 or more hours. Demand or need:  26 percent from 2016 to 2026 Reflection: I feel like  this job is very interesting and i would like to be a reflexologist one day because its a very simple job and i feel like i would love it.

Good values is something very important that you will need in life. As Dennis said, great values is more important than money. Great values is something everyone should be proud off. Dennis also showed us an example which was, if a dog was drowning but a human was also drawing, you would have to rescue the human because you value humans more. Although you love your dog value is more important. Never let anything get in the way of your values because those are the most important thing you will ever have. Another example is, if your friends ask you to go out but your mom needs you to do something with her, than you need to choose your mom. That is because you should value your mom more than your friends.   

                                              Registered Nurse  Duties and responsibilities:   Registered nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care. They also educate patients about health conditions and provide emotional support to patients which is very important.  Salary:   $70,000 is what they make per year. Education:    Bachelor of Science degree in nursing Associates degree in learning  A diploma approved from a nursing program You only need to do one of these things to become a registered nurse. Demand or need: 2016 -2026, job growth of 15% Reflection: I Would not like to enroll in this career because it does not interest me.

                                      Student Success Statement  "The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self respect, dignity, integrity, and self esteem" This statement by Dr. Laura Schlessinger is an amazing quote that tells us alot.When you choose the right there is always a reward which is, you gain self esteem, dignity and respect. When you choose the right, you gain respect which is a good thing because everyone will respect you and look at you as a good person. You'll will gain dignity which is also important. Lastly you will gain self esteem which is very important because you will be very confident about your self which is very good. A person who does the right will not gain nothing bad, they will gain something good that will benefit because doing the right is very important. It may be hard but it is the right thing to do.

                        Student Success Statement  Work hard  Follow your passions. Do things you are interested in doing. Don't chase after money  Serve others. Do good things for others, and good things will come to you  These are some good tips given to use by Phillip Riggs. His first tip is work word, and thats something that every person will tell you because working hard is very important. Another step is following your passion. You need to do what you love to do. If your passion is to play soccer, than become a professional player. An important step is dont chase after money because money will come and go. Chase after something that will make you successful. Also do things for others because it is helpful and it makes you feel good.

                                Challenges That Teens Face   Some challenges that teens face is bullying which is horrible. It can be physical bullying or cyber bullying but either of them its not good to do or to go through. A person who is being bullied has to stand up for them self's because bullying can lead to suicide. Some challenges that teens my also face is experiencing violence at home with there parents or someone else. This can lead to a teen getting traumatized and scared. Also hooking up with someone may be a challenge to sum teens because some teens are shy and arent good at talking. Right now at the moment, I am not facing any challenges but i feel like the biggest challenges teens face is bullying because it is happening everywhere and it is causing teens to commit suicide and being depressed.  Being a ctr person helps you face a challenge because when you are a ctr person, you are confident you can face anything.
