                                Student Success Statement                          " Only those live who do good"                                                       Count Leo Tolstoy Reflection: I say this quote is 80% right and 20% wrong. I believe that because some people do bad and they still live fine. Some people smoke and drink beer and they are doing fine. But, when you do good you feel even better, you feel great and amazing. You are a good person when you do good and you will live life like a good person. I know people do wrong but maybe they dont have no other choice maybe they are forced to do bad. If you do good, you will live like a good person. when you do bad , you will still live but doing the wrong.

                                       Optometrist Duties and responsibilities: An Optometrist performs vision test and examines the results. Then the see if anything is wrong with your eyes. They also prescribe contact lenses, glasses, and medications if the state accepts it. Salary:  $104,531 - $130,845 Education:  You'll need a bachelors degree which would take about 4 years. You'll take  Demand or needs: Projected for a 10 year growth of 27% Reflection: This career really interest me and i would really want to be an optometrist. When i go to the eye doctor all the machines they use look so interesting which makes me want to use them.

Whats popular isn't isn't always right."                              Albert Einstein  I agree 100% with Albert Einstein's quote. Popular things are things that are wrong, well most of the time. For example, like drinking alcohol. That may be popular but it's not right because alcohol affects your liver and that isn't good. Also smoking weed, a lot of people are doing it but it is definitely not the right thing. Doing the right isn't really popular because most people like to do wrong. For example some people refuse to party and study for a test, most people go to the party although not going is the right thing. Many things are popular but many of those things aren't right. People choose what is popular because that is what everyone is doing. But everyone should make right decisions even if it's not popular.

                         911 Operator Duties and responsibilities:   A 911 operator answers incoming calls which can be both emergency and non- emergency. The operators decide what services they are going to send which depends on how the situation is. This job is honestly very important because your deciding what to send to save a person. Salary:  $36,300 -   $56,580 Education: 911 operators require a high school  diploma or a GED. Employers provide specific training for all 911 operators. The training covers aspects of radio equipment and communication skills. This training takes about 3 to six months. Demand or needs:   -3% 2014-2024 Reflection: This job has really interested me since i was a kid. I want to be the person to send help and hopefully save a person. To me that seems like a very important job.

It is your choice if you want to live in poverty. No one chooses to live in poverty, maybe you come from a poor family but it is your choice if you want to stay in it. You can work really hard and become successful so you wont have to be in poverty. I am not living in poverty but i want to become successful. Being successful benefits a person in many ways. A person can become rich, they will be respected and they will be loved. Ben Carson didn't choose to live in poverty, that's how it was.                                       Current Health Event ( Flu widespread through out the nation, 30 children dead) Description: The flu has wide spread through out all states except Hawaii. It has caused 30 deaths in the week of January among children. All this happened during the week ending of January. People need to start getting their vaccines because the flu is killing many people so everyone needs to be aware. Who is involved? People involved are children because there the ones who are affected more with the flu than anyone else. Also doctors are involved, well mostly everyone because this is happening in all 49 states. What is being done about it? Well the flu is something that spreads everywhere so people are protecting themselves and getting their shots. Reflection: Well I believe more people should be getting their shots to protect themselves from the flu and also getting there children's shots so they wont be affected.

                          Student Success Statement               " Even if everyone is doing it, Wrong is Never Right"                            By Russell M. Nelson  Reflection: I believe Russell M. Nelson is 100% right. Wrong is never right and that is just how it is no matter what. For example, if everyone is smoking weed, its wrong no matter what. If everyone is doing cocaine, its wrong no matter what because drugs are bad for you.Doesn't matter if everyone is doing it because wrong is wrong no matter what. There is no way something can be right if your clearly doing the wrong. For example cheating, now that is big. A lot of people cheat but no matter what it is the wrong thing to do. Everyone needs to do the right thing no matter how much people do the wrong. Everyone should agree with this quote because i sure do.

                     Phlebotomist Duties and Responsibilities: Phlebotomist's draw blood from patients and then they take the blood to the lab for examination. After examination they see if anything is wrong with the patients blood. Salary:   $29,467- $36,548 Education: A college degree is not required to become a phlebotomist, but you do need a high school  diploma. You will also get training in class and also on the job. Most phlebotomist's go for their associates degree but that is optional. Demand or Needs: Ten year growth of 25%   Reflection: A phlebotomist job is simple and to me very interesting. Because of that, i would like to be a phlebotomist.

Monson is completely correct with this quote. Right is Right no matter what. When wrong their is no way you can be right because your obviously doing wrong. Right is right and you cant be wrong when your doing the right. For example, you rob a store. That is automatically the wrong thing to do and there is no way its right. Doing right like helping out a women that cant carry her groceries is the right thing. There is no way that can be wrong. Right is right and wrong is wrong. Every person should always choose the right because you will become very successful. A person who does the wrong gets no where in life but prison because of their bad actions. A person who does the right is going to go to college and become successful. A successful person is what i am going to strive for and i will accompli

            The harmful effects of marijuana  How does marijuana harm you? Smoking can increase your heart rate for about 2-3 hours. It can lower your blood pressure and damage your blood sugar. It also affects your longs and that is why most smokers cough. Statistics on how marijuana harms you Percentage of teens who tried marijuana 15.6 percent of eighth graders report using marijuana in their lifetimes, as well as 33.7 percent of 10th graders, and 44.4 percent of 12th graders. Promoting non marijuana use I can promote this by spreading flyers around how marijuana affects you. Also i can talk to the people who smoke and try to convince them to stop. Commitment: I know i will not smoke marijuana no matter what people say

When you are enthusiastic, you are happy, glad and joyful. You are more likely to do things right when your happy. When your sad and down, you dont have the spirit to accomplish anything. For example when your playing a soccer game, you need to be enthusiastic about winning so you could have the spirit to win. You can achieve big things when your enthusiastic and you will be successful. No one will accomplish if there sad or down. You need to be happy and you need to believe that you will make it.

                                               Occupational Therapist  Duties and responsibilities: They treat injured or disabled patients through activities that people do in their everyday life. They also help patients recover and improve their skills. Salary:  $76,707 - $91,242 ,  Education:  Bachelors degree You can also use an undergraduate degree Demand or needs: 10 year growth, 27% Reflection:  I would not like to engage in this career because it seems really boring.

I was trying to do what is right."                               Dean Smith Dean smith is a very smart man and he is also a good coach. I agree 100% with his quote. He didnt care about making a legacy because he was just trying to do the right. Doing that right makes you a very successful person just like Dean Smith. He was one of the best coaches because he took his team to victory many times. All he wanted was to do the right and thats what he did. It didnt matter to him about making a legacy, all that was important was doing the right. The most important thing for a person is doing the right.

They also supervise the incoming of health care. Salary:     $97,219- $121,661 Education:  Bachelors degree in health care administration Masters in long term care administration, health services, and public health of business administration Demand or need:   17% by 2024               Reflection:   I am very interested in this career and i would like to become a health care administrator. This jobs seems very easy and this career makes a significant amount of money.

If your honest, respectful, responsible, then good things will happen. If your the opposite which means your dishonest or disrespectful, then things wont be good in life. It all depends if you choose the right which is the most important thing. Choosing the right will get you very far and you will be very successful. Most importantly, your dreams will come true.

                              My Christmas Winter Break   Well my break was kind of boring. I didn't really go out much, i mostly stayed home to relax and play ps4. On weekends i go play soccer with my team as always. When the day before Christmas eve came, my mom was already preparing tamales to have everything ready. Christmas eve came and i was very excited because we would all get to open presents. Sadly i fell asleep and woke up at 12 to open gifts but everyone was already asleep. so Christmas morning was when i opened them. The rest of the days i watched Netflix till my family from Oregon came to our house. They were only staying for a couple of days so my mom decided to let them sleep at our house because there was alot of people and we stayed at my sister's house since were neighbors.
