Memorial day Memorial Day is a day where those who died in the military are remembered because they are very important people. Memorial day is on May 28, thats the day we remember the loss of many people who fought in the military. A way to show honor and respect on memorial day is to show the flag of the united states. Another way to show respect is to send a letter to a veteran. It doesn't matter if you know them or not, an appreciation letter to a veteran would be very nice.
