Student Success Statement

 Reflection: I agree 100% with this quote. When you are kind, you are a great person. If your not kind to other people than you are a bad person. For example, If you see a elderly person struggling to take her groceries to her car, than you need to be kind and help her. If you see that shes struggling and you don't help her, than you are a bad person. Another great example is when your on a bus and a person that can't walk as good as you walks, at that point you need to stand up and offer that person your spot. We all want to be treated with kindness and respect. If your disrespectful and you dont have manners, then you will never be a great person. In order to be a great person you need to be kind and respectful.

In addition, using steroids is cheating and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don't do it.                               George Mitchell  Reflection: I believe this quote from George Mitchell is correct because short term gain causes long term pain. For example, you use your phone for about 20 seconds while your in class and you get it taken away for several days by the teacher. The short term gain isn't worth the long term pain.                                          Student Success Statement  " I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating " Reflection: This quote brought to us by sophocles is truly amazing. He is 100% right in what he is saying. If you win by cheating, you are a bad terrible person that deserves no respect. If you win in that way, you will feel bad about yourself which is not good. You need to win honorably and fair and square. If you lose at something, but you are a sore loser and gets mad, that is not the right way to react. The right way to react is to shake the opponent's hand and say good job.  For example, Malik Stewart lost the state championship but he didn't get mad, he showed respect and hugged his opponents dad which was very kind and respectful.
