                                   Student Success Statement                          " I won't cheat"                           Dale Murphy  Reflection: I believe this quote by Dale Murphy is correct and very important. Cheating is very common in schools and in sports. For example in schools, kids cheat on tests to get a good grade and that is not right at all. Kids feel bad after cheating because you are choosing the wrong. In sports many players use steroids and that is choosing the wrong. Steroids help a person gain more muscle so they can be stronger and more efficient. Everyone cheats once in a while, even including me but it's the wrong thing to do. An example of not cheating is studying and doing well on a test. When you study, there is no reason to cheat because you already know the material. When you don't cheat, than you feel good about your self.

                                        Patient Representative Duties and responsibilities: They greet and take in patients, they revise the information and enter it into the system. They also collect patient's payments  and schedule their appointments . Salary:    $35,719 Education:  Bachelors degree Training  Demand or need: 5% from 2016-2026 \  Reflection: I would not want to enroll in this career because it seems very boring.

                                  Student Success Statement                                               "Character matters most"                                                              Dale Murphy Reflection: I believe this quote by Dale Murphy is 100& right. Character is a very important to have in a person. Money doesn't matter, it may be important but soon it runs out. Character, the person who you are is forever. If you don't have good character, than no one will like you and everyone will hate you. A good person has good character, it doesn't matter about money or looks, it matters about great character. To me, money doesnt matter, all that matters is having a good character because at the end, thats what is most important. People will treat you with respect and they will admire because of your good character.

                                                    Pediatrician  Duties and responsibilities: Pediatricians provide medical care to new born children and young adults. They examine,            diagnose, and treat children with illnesses and injuries that children may have.  Salary:    $167,330 - $229,570 Education:  Undergraduate degree Medical school  Demand or needs: Job outlook of 10%   2014-2024  Reflection: I would like to enroll in this career because i would like helping babies and making sure there okay.

                                Student Success Statement  " Great beauty, great strength, and great riches, are really and truly of no great use; a right heart exceeds all"                                  Benjamin Franklin Reflection: I believe this quote by Benjamin Franklin is correct because a great heart does beat all. Even if you have great beauty, great riches, that doesn't matter because a right heart beats everything. You need to be a CTR person  to have a great heart. If your always doing bad, getting into trouble, than your heart isn't quite right. You need to be good all the time and be generous and thoughtful because thats what makes a great heart. A great person always has an amazing heart and thats the person everyone should try to be. A person with a right heart never cheats or does anything bad.

                                                      Pathologist  Duties and responsibilities: A pathologist examines and diagnoses body fluids such as blood or urine or also tissues. They perform autopsies to determine the cause of death. Salary:    $224,017 - $313,607 Education:  Bachelors degree  Medical degree Training Residency   Demand or needs: 14% from 2014 to 2024 Reflection: I would like to enroll in this career because it is very interesting to me.

                                 Student Success Statement  " It may make a difference to all eternity whether we do right or wrong today"             James Freeman Clarke Reflection: This quote is 100% correct. One action can change your whole life in a instant. For example, some intelligent guy gave a wonderful speech on his career so everyone though he was going to be successful. Turns out a couple days later, he shoots up a movie theater and kills 12 people. That event that happened in about 10- 20 minutes changed his life for eternity. How went to prison and is getting the life sentence or he is getting the death penalty. Every single day you have to choose the right because one mistake can change your life forever and that's not a good thing. If you do good one day, it may benefit you your whole life.

                                    Student Success Statement          " Ask yourself is it right or wrong and act accordingly"                                                       Otto Graham Jr. Reflection: I agree with this quote because what hes saying is true. Before you make an action or before your going to do   something, you have to think it through. If you don't know what you're doing is right or wrong then you need to think about it. For example, you find a backpack and it has brand new shoes and a basketball but you have no money so selling it would get you easy money. If your a good person, you will think it through and choose the right which is  giving it back to the person or giving it to the police so they can find who the person is. If you do the wrong and sell it, you ill be a CTW person and that is not right. You always have to think before you act because doing things without thinking is dumb.

                                                    Presidents day  What is presidents day? Presidents day is a day to honor all our presidents but most importantly, George Washington. It became know as presidents day after it was moved as part of 1971 Uniform Holiday Monday's act. When is it? Presidents day is on February 19 Ways to show honor:  Showing love Reading about them Go to the National Park Thank them  I can show Honor and respect by spending the day at the National Park since that is where presidents are celebrated. I can also read about them and learn more about them.

                               Student Success Statement  "Act well your part; there all honor lies"     Reflection: Well I agree with this quote because you always have to act well on your part. Even if a person is not acting well, you always have to act well. For example if a person asks you to do something wrong, than you have to say no because that is the right thing to do. Everyone should be doing well on there part because that is the right thing to do. Everyone should be honest at not do what is wrong because you will be a CTW person.

                                                   Valentines day  History: The Romans are responsible for this day because a Roman leader executed a guy named Valentine and because of that Valentines day is named after him. It's also on February 14, and that's the day the guy got executed. February 14 is a day of love and a day you should spend with your loved one. Every year people exchange cars, they give teddy bears and flowers and many other stuff to express their love. This year my valentines is my mom because shes everything.

                              Student Success Statement  " Associate with men of good quality if esteem your own reputation; this better to be alone than in bad company"                    George Washington Reflection: I believe this quote is correct because its better to associate with good people. Associating with bad people will lead you no where in life. For example if your with people that smoke weed and they offer you some, well you have to say no even if they pressure you. You need to hang out with good people, people that will benefit you. People that will help you in life and support you is the people you want to hang out with. People who smoke and offer you aren't really your friends. It is better to have no friends than have ones that smoke and do bad things. No one wants to be in bad company and if you do, than your doing the wrong.

                                            Orthopedic surgeon  Duties and responsibilities: An orthopedic surgeon works with the muscular system which includes working with muscles, joints, and bones. They also perform surgery to get rid of tumors and injures in your bones and muscles. Salary:    $363,900 - $598,862 Education: Bachelors degree (4 years) Medical school (4 years) Orthopedic residency in a hospital (4-5 years) Demand or needs: 2014- 2024, 14% job growth Reflection:  I feel like i am not cut out for this career because I don't think i will be good with this type of stuff. But you never know anything can happen.

                                     Student Success Statement             " Right is Right only when entire" Reflection: I believe this quote is right because when you're right, you have to be entirely right not just partially. You might be honest 6 days a week but dishonest one day meaning you are not honest at all. You need to be honest everyday of the week. Another example is when your maybe at school, and your taking a test. Suppose your doing all the answers honestly and then you cheat on one. You did not do the test with honesty because you cheated. It doesnt matter if you cheat on one of them, you still cheated and that's not honest. You always have to be honest or you will live your life with guilt.

                                               Orthodontist  Duties and responsibilities: This career involves straightening teeth and correcting bites. Orthodontist also focus on the problems with the patients teeth. To do that, orthodontist use x rays to see what is wrong. Salary:    $111,542 - $164,625 Education:  Bachelor's degree (4 years) Dental school (4 years) Post doctoral program ( 2 years) It approximately takes ten years to become an orthodontist. Demand or needs:   Projected to grow 21% from 2010 to 2020 Reflection: This career honestly really interest me and i would like to enroll in it. It may take a long time but I am willing to enroll.

                               Student Success Statement  " If you do whats right, if you live the right, you'll be taken care of"                     Rachel Castillo  Reflection: I believe this is a true statement because if you do the right, you will live a great life. For example, if another person had found the money and kept it, that would not be the right choice.They would live a bad ctw life. Rachel returned the money because shes a ctr person and also the bible tells her not to steal. If she would of kept the money, she would be a ctw person. I personally would of turned in the money because what if the owner really needs the money for an important reason. And if i would have taken the money, The Virgin Mary would not help me out no more because i always pray to her when i need something. I believe no one should steal because no matter what, that's the wrong thing to do.

                                   Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon  Duties and responsibilities: They perform surgery and procedures that are very difficult to treat diseases, injuries or defects. The surgery also may be to improve functions. All the surgery and procedures happen in the oral maxillofacial regions. Salary: $232,870  Education: 4 years of dental school 4-6 years of residency  Demand or needs: Growth of 1.28 per year. Reflection: I would not enroll in this career because to me this seems dangerous when performing surgery. I would not want to mess up on any patient.

                          Student Success Statement  "In life as in football, you won't go far, unless you know where the goal post are"                                         Arnold H. Glasgow  Reflection: At first I didn't really understand this quote but now i realized that its a good quote. I agree 100% with this amazing quote. You can't go far in life if you don't set any goals, you need to set goals so you can accomplish them. This quote can also relate to sports. For example, like in soccer if you don't know where the goal is, you cant score. You won't go far if you don't know where its at. You need to set goals in life so you can be successful when you accomplish them. A person won't go far in life if they dont set goals. Goals like getting straight A's, or winning the championship game and importantly going to college. You will be a happy person when you set goals and accomplish them. I personally have a goal for this semes

                                        Optometry Technician  Duties and responsibilities: Optometrist technician assist the optometrist in eye examinations and procedures. They also record the patients medical history and help patients when being examined. They also help with doing eye tests. Salary: They make about 26,000 per year. Education:  High school diploma You will also take courses in anatomy and physiology of the eye Demand or needs: 5% for 10 years Reflection: This career doesn't really interest me but who knows, maybe in the future i will become one.
