  1. Telling the truth lets everyone  know what really happened. There's less chance of misunderstanding, conclusion, or conflict.
  2. Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished.
  3. Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened.
  4. You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than for lying (and getting caught)
  5. Other people trust you more when you tell the truth.
  6. You don't have to tell more lies to keep your story straight.
  7. You gain a reputation for being truthful - a trait most people value.
  8. Telling the truth helps you feel secure and peaceful inside.
Reflection: This 8 reasons are incredible. Telling the truth lets everyone know what happened as said in the first reason. This is good because than people don't have to be confused or they won't have any misunderstanding of what really happened. Telling the truth never gets you punished and always keeps you in a good place. You might get in trouble but it is worse than lying. A big thing is that telling a lie leads to more lies so it's better just to tell the truth because it will benefit you in a better way. Lastly, you also gain a good reputation. A reputation of honesty and being truthful which is what a lot of people will take in mind. Always tell the truth because it is the best thing to do and never tell a lie because it will get you in trouble because it is the worst thing to you.

In addition, using steroids is cheating and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don't do it.                               George Mitchell  Reflection: I believe this quote from George Mitchell is correct because short term gain causes long term pain. For example, you use your phone for about 20 seconds while your in class and you get it taken away for several days by the teacher. The short term gain isn't worth the long term pain. He is 100% right in what he is saying. If you win by cheating, you are a bad terrible person that deserves no respect. If you win in that way, you will feel bad about yourself which is not good. You need to win honorably and fair and square. If you lose at something, but you are a sore loser and gets mad, that is not the right way to react.
